Sam Begay was a celebrated Navajo artist and silversmith, he was active from the 1930’s until the 1980’s.He is known for his intricate sandcast work and complex turquoise settings and hallmarks.Many of Sam’s pieces were featured in the famous Sotheby’s auction in 1975.
