Roscoe Scott
Roscoe Scott is a Navajo Artist who began his craft in the 1970s and is specifically known for his fine overlay work. He was born in Gallup, New Mexico and learned his craft from his father and grandfather. Early in his career, he worked as a bench smith at Atkinson Trading Company. His grandfather, Elgin Scott, is often honored in his work with Roscoe’s intricate maze designs that his grandfather was known for.
